Steelers look to steal charge from San Diego
The Steelers face the San Diego Chargers in round 2 of the AFC divisional playoffs on Sunday, Jan. 11. The first round bye granted to the Steelers for winning their conference turned out to be a godsend for the Steelers. The extra week allowed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to recover from a concussion he received against their last season game against Cleveland, in which he left the field on a stretcher during the second quarter of the Dec. 28 game.
The Chargers are faced with their own fair share of injuries coming into this weekend’s game as well. San Diego’s running back LaDainian Tomlinson is listed as questionable for the game with a groin injury, while his backup Darren Sproles suffered an ankle sprain, but is listed as probable.
